about

The project "Leave You Where I Find You" is the 5th studio album written by Michael "Precyce Politix" Williams, and is produced entirely by Sharp Cuts. After the "Last Son of Brooklyn" album (Precyce's Second project) cyce decided to start working exclusively with only one producer for the entire scope of all future projects in hopes to achieve the most coherency possible. As a result of this, projects like the K-Hill produced "Precyce Politix and K-Hill are:Stallone & Weathers" and the critically acclaimed D.R.U.G.S. Beats produced "DRUG-POLITIX" soon followed. "Leave You" follows the formula with cyce linking up with producer Sharp Cuts for the entire album.

Precyce loves to write his verses as well as his entire albums as movies and set pieces, and has actually created his own universe via different personalities inside of the host's (Michael's) head. One personality in particular that everybody recognizes is Frankie Needlzz the hitman. Frankie made his first appearance on Cyce's debut album "Kryptonian Thought Patterns" and has been a fan favorite ever since.

"Leave You" opens up with an older, wiser Frankie Needlzz explaining the concept of Loyalty, as well as what it meant to who he was. This album was inspired by the movie "Carlitos Way" more specifically the prison scene between Sean Penn's character David Kleinfield and mobb boss Tony Taglialuccis. The title came from Joe Pesci's character in the movie Casino saying "Let me find out you f**ked up I'll leave you right where I find you"

As with any movie, the soundtrack is very important, and Precyce chose Sharp Cuts to craft all of the beats. Sharp's gritty boombap style of production along with his choice of samples compliments Precyce's style of writing and story telling perfectly, and "Leave You" comes off more cinematic than illmatic at times, but make no mistake about it: this is hip hop in its purist form with a director's twist on the genre.
